It's probably because the weather has been colder but I want to believe Lilo took him outside one day and had a heart-to-heart with him. Explained that as energetic and badass as she is, she was far from the youngster she once was. It would one day to be his full duty to protect the yard and love the family.
THE TORCH WILL BE PASSED.
Until then, she'll still act coy and irrational with her affection, haha, but will train and teach him to become her prodigy.
As I wait for the pies to cool and my aunt and uncle to arrive for dinner, I decide to go out in the back with Cal to further experiment with my tripod. It's a gorge day for one like me. Sun is out but it's slightly cool, gotta love it. I didn't get too many shots of Cal, though, as he was too busy nommin on a huge bone he had come across and he's been so good lately I let him have it. Why not?
Then he found a tennis ball. That put a stop to everything else I had been doing.
We really didn't mean for it to work out this way, making days on March 14th and all. My dad and I had actually been putting it off for a couple of days since I had work and he hadn't been feeling too well. But today, ho ho, today was the day.
The plan was to make 4 pies... and as you can see we ended up with 2. How? Well, even with 6 little crate-things of strawberries, it still wasn't enough. Crazy, right? Should've figured. Oh well, they're in the fridge and I'm waiting for after dinner. :D
